The Imperial-TU Munich Mathematical Sciences Hub is a joint initiative between Imperial College London and Technical University of Munich (TUM) with the aim to explore avenues for future joint research projects and funding initiatives between the both mathematics departments. The formation of the hub has been motivated by the recent commitment of both universities to a Flagship Partnership and builds on strong existing links and research interests between both departments in the areas of random systems, modelling in the social sciences, statistics, PDEs, applied and numerical analysis.

The Hub spans all areas of mathematical sciences and is jointly funded by the mathematics departments of Imperial College London and Technical University of Munich. It supports extended research visits between both departments and facilitates the organisation of joint workshops and summer schools, as well as co-supervision of PhD students.
