WHO Member States have adopted at the 78th World Health Assembly in 2025 both the Global Action Plan on Climate Change and Health (A78/4 Add.2) and the Updated road map for an enhanced global response to the adverse health effects of air pollution (EB156/24), reiterating their interest in tackling climate change and air pollution as key priorities areas of work to protect health upstream.
