    Dr Noreen Ryan Domain lead Quality Healthcare

    Bio

    Noreen is a GP and an educator.  She is lead for Quality Healthcare.  She has been working at Imperial College School of Medicine since 2016 as a member of Faculty, but has been involved in community teaching for both Imperial College and UCL since the year 2000.   She is passionate about medical education and the importance of patient centred compassionate care.

    Dr Rasha Mezher Sikafi Domain Lead Professional Identify Formation

    Bio

    Dr Mezher-Sikafi is the Professional Identity and Behaviour Lead at Imperial College School of Medicine. She is also the Deputy Head of Tutoring (Clinical) for Phase One Medicine. Her role as a Senior Teaching Fellow within the School of Public Health involves leading a team designing, delivering and assessing the Professional Values and Behaviour curriculum through Phase 1 to 3 of the undergraduate medicine degree (MBBS).  As a member of senior leadership within the Academic tutoring team, she works closely with the Head of Academic Tutoring to train and support Academic tutors within Phase one. With a specific focus on preparing students to learn in clinical practise.

  • Dr Chee Yeen Fung

    Dr Chee Yeen Fung Domain Lead Medical Ethics and Law

    Bio

    Dr Fung is the Medical Ethics and Law Domain Lead at Imperial College School of Medicine. A GP by background, Dr Fung has over a decade of medical education experience in both undergraduate and national contexts. She has been a member of Faculty since 2020, and her areas of interest include clinical assessments and widening participation.

    Dr Fung was awarded Imperial College London’s President’s Medal for Excellence in Education in 2024, and was the National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow to Health Education England in 2019.

  • Dr Elizabeth Muir

    Dr Elizabeth Muir PVB Domain Lead 2019-2022, Associate Professor and Honorary Consultant

    Bio

    Dr Muir has worked clinically in General Practice and been the Foundations of Clinical Practice Theme leader in the previous curriculum.  She is now teaching and tutoring for the Faculty of Medicine.

  • Dr Adonna Francis

    Dr Adonna Francis Domain Lead - Professional Identity Formation (Maternity cover until January 2026)

    Bio

    Adonna is a GP with interests in community paediatrics, health inequalities and medical education. She completed her intercalated BSc in International Health in 2010, with UCL (the Institute of Child Health). Subsequently, in 2020, she completed her MA in Medical Ethics and Law with Kings College London and joined as a tutor for Imperial College School of Medicine, teaching across various domains including: PVB, Medical ethics and Law, Clinical Anatomy and Clinical Communication skills. 

    Adonna is currently in the role of Domain Lead for Professional Identity formation (mat cover) and is completing her PG diploma in University Learning and Teaching. She is passionate about cross-disciplinary learning and the use of the humanities in medical education to support both creative enquiry and student wellbeing 

  • Dr Adrian Raby

    Dr Adrian Raby Senior Lecturer in Medical Ethics and Law

    Bio

    Adrian teaches ethics and law across the MBBS curriculum. He is a module 2 ‘Science in Context’ lead for the BSc in Humanities Philosophy and Law, and the lead for the Ethics and Medical Regulation short module in the BMB BSc course. He is a GP/ GP trainer working in West London. He is interested in Narrative Medicine and the use of the humanities in medical education. 

  • Dr Zobia Arshad

    Dr Zobia Arshad Clinical Teaching Fellow

    Bio

    Dr Arshad joined the Undergraduate Public Health Education team as a teaching fellow in 2024, having initially participated in PVB teaching as part of her special interest sessions prior to this. She completed her Foundation Training in South London; her Core Psychiatry training in North Central London and is currently a Specialist Registrar in Older and General Adult Psychiatry in West London. She holds degrees in medicine, biochemistry and is a member of the royal college of psychiatrists. 

    Dr Arshad has a special interest in medical education and has taught across various domains, including PVB and psychiatry at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She is particularly passionate about the design and delivery of PVB modules focusing on burnout, professional well-being and positive role-modelling, as well as the importance of the practice of reflection.

  • Dr Alexandra Bucko

    Dr Alexandra Bucko Teaching Fellow, Professional Values and Behaviours

    Bio

    Dr Bucko joined the Professional Values & Behaviours Team as a Teaching Fellow in 2024. She previously worked as a Digital Teaching Fellow at the Imperial Faculty of Medicine for the 2023/2024 academic year. In that time she has participated in PVB teaching and developed a special interest in the subject. Alex completed her Foundation training in South London and is currently a General Practice Registrar in North London. She holds a medicine degree with an intercalated BMedSci from the University of Sheffield and a PgCert in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh.

    Dr Bucko is particularly interested in professional identity development through experiential learning and reflection. She is also passionate about supporting and empowering neurodiverse students, and inclusive design of learning resources.

  • Ms Heather Hanna

    Ms Heather Hanna Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow

    Bio

    Mrs. Hanna qualified in London as a Registered General Nurse and a Registered Sick Children’s Nurse and later also qualified as an RN in the State of Washington, USA practicing there for 3 years in Infant Intensive Care Unit and then as a Research Nurse at Children’s Hospital, Seattle. Her career was mostly spent in Neonatal Intensive Care before she moved into Research at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington where she also obtained her MSc in Allergy (dist.) from Imperial College London. Over ten years ago, she moved into Medical Education and obtained her MEd in University Lecturing and Teaching from Imperial College. Her roles are now split between Undergraduate Medical Education working in the Medical Ethics and Law Team and Postgraduate Medical Education as Clinical Teaching Fellow on the online Applied Paediatrics MSc course, both at Imperial College London.
