The REACT Public Advisory Group are an essential part of the REACT study team. They provide experiential insights from their position outside of academic research. Some of their responsibilities include:
-
Attending discussion groups, workshops, one-to-one discussions, or completing surveys to provide insights on the project.
-
Reviewing study materials (e.g. participant invitations, participant information sheets and informed consent, information about participant test results) to ensure they are easy to understand
- Contributing to analysis and reporting on research findings for peer reviewed publications
Public Advisory Group and the REACT Cohort
We have recently talked with our current public advisors about how we shift from a focus on Covid to a broader view of impacts on health and wellbeing using the REACT Cohort. We are seeking to recruit new members into the PAG and will continue to work with them to shape future research.
The next activity for the advisory group is a planning exercise to help us determine what specific research questions should be prioritised by the REACT Cohort.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the public advisory group please complete this form.
