Our annual lunchtime concert series is one of the jewels in Imperial's crown, with world-class performers such as the Maggini and Tippett Quartets, pianists Steven Kovacevich and David Owen Norris and period instrument ensembles Florilegium and Fretwork.
Concerts from October 2020 will take place at 13:00 every Thursday during term time, in the Great Hall (Level 2 Sherfield Building) on the South Kensington campus, and occasionally in Holy Trinity Church, Prince Consort Road. All of our lunchtime concerts will be presented to a small, socially-distanced audience, as well as live-streamed and recorded. All lunchtime concerts are free.
Eventbrite links will be circulated to our mailing list at the start of each week, alongside links to our live stream. We are proud to present a new initiative, Live Notes, a series of short introductions to our concerts and artists by respected musicians and musicologists.
There are also short evening converts held in Holy Trinity Church at 17.45, where wine is served. These will not be live streamed but recorded for archive purposes.
