In order for you to get the most out of the Careers Advisory Service, we recommend that current students, alumni, Imperial staff and employers register with our online system JobsLive.

You will need to complete a registration process with JobsLive to specify preferences for receiving email alerts for events and job vacancies, and to enter information about areas of work that you might be interested in. Once you have done this, you can book appointments, places on events and search for jobs.

Our online system is easy to use

• Log in with your Imperial username and password, if you are an Imperial Alumnus you will need to register with us first
• More effective e-mail alerts - set your profile settings to receive daily/weekly email alerts about job vacancies and events according to the types of work you are interested in
• Email confirmation and reminders for all booked events/appointments 

Current Imperial Students

• Login to JobsLive from the following page: www.imperial.ac.uk/careers/resources/jobslive
• Select ‘Current Student’
• Check your details from ‘My Profile' and please ensure that you check the ‘Update Profile' settings to set your personal details and email preferences
• NOTE registering for TARGETjobs is not mandatory

Imperial alumni

In order for you to be able to access JobsLive, please complete a registration form with the Careers Advisory Service (this is to allow you to access secure parts of our website). You will be sent an automated username and password, when you have this please follow the steps below to access JobsLive.

• Login to JobsLive from the following page: www.imperial.ac.uk/careers/resources/jobslive
• Select ‘Imperial staff/alumni & RCA students’
• Enter your details and you will be shortly sent a username and password to access your JobsLive account
• Check your details from ‘My Profile' and please ensure that you check the ‘Update Profile' settings to set your personal details and email preferences

Imperial staff

• Your Imperial login will not work with JobsLive. Please go to the following page www.imperial.ac.uk/careers/resources/jobslive and select 'Imperial Staff/Alumni & RCA Students Login & Registration'.
• Input your details on the registration page.
• Under 'Degree graduated with' select 'Imeprial College Staff' or 'Imperial College Contract Research staff'.
• You will be sent an automated username and password.

Employers

If you wish to advertise job vacancies/participate in events or see other services that we offer to employers, please go to the employers section of the website.
