Provided by Marion Todd
David Todd was a strong character at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School and the Rugby Club. After graduating in 1967, and house jobs in Dartford, he spent the next 24 years in general practice in his hometown of Barrow-in-Furness. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with medical students from 'The Cross' on their placements with him. In 1993 he established Morecambe Bay Occupational Health Services, providing occupational medicine to both local and national businesses. The Peggy Light Foundation has been established in his memory to raise funds to help with palliative care in the home. He leaves a wife, three children and two granddaughters.Article text (excluding photos or graphics) © Imperial College London.
