QATAR FOUNDATION: Visiting Senior Scientists & Scholars Program

Qatar Foundation Research Division is pleased to launch the Visiting Senior Scientists and Scholars Program that will support the national aspirations for higher standards of research and development while contributing to making Qatar a hub for research excellence in niche areas of sciences. This program also contributes to the exchange of scientific knowledge between internationally recognized leaders and local research communities thus enhancing and promoting a more vibrant scientific culture in the State of Qatar.

The Program allows for a minimum visit of 3 months to a maximum of 12 months for internationally renowned scientists, experts or leaders to pursue research matters at QF Research Division and/or Research Centers thus contributing to enhancing specific research expertise needed by QF Research Programs, centers and/or institutes. Such visits may be extended by agreement when and where needed.
