The Society for Information Display (SID) workshop was held at Imperial College over the 20-21 September 2010, the 4th meeting of its kind organised in the UK. The workshop covered all aspects of organic semiconductors and, in particular, their use in displays.
For the 2010 workshop, a dedicated poster session was organised for PE-DTC students to showcase their recently completed MRes projects. Cambridge Display Technology, an industrial partner of the PE-DTC, sponsored the session and offered a prize for the best poster. We are delighted to offer our congratulations to Mr Roland Piper who won the £250 prize for his excellent work on “2-Photon up-conversion and application to the intermediate band solar cell”.
