CERN Appointment

Professor Jim Virdee has been elected to be the next spokesperson for the CMS experiment at CERN. Jim will lead the CMS experiment for the next three years, through a very exciting period in which the apparatus will be switched on and the first data will be obtained. Being selected for this prestigious role at this very exciting time is just recognition of the excellent scientific leadership that Jim has been providing to this major international project.
