Dr Christopher Gourlay was awarded a Royal Society Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation International Exchanges Award

Dr Christopher Gourlay and Hideyuki Yasuda (Osaka University, Japan) have been awarded a Royal Society Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation International Exchanges Award, valued at £12,000, for student and staff exchanges as part of a collaborative project titled: Direct, crystal-scale studies of semi-solid alloy deformation.
