DoC Professor becomes a Fellow of the IEEE

Professor Maja Pantic from the Department of Computing has been elected to Fellow of the IEEE for for her contributions to automatic human behavior understanding and affective computing.

Professor Maja Pantic from the Department of Computing has been elected to Fellow of the IEEE for for her contributions to automatic human behavior understanding and affective computing.

Maja is a Professor of Affective and Behavioral Computing and leader of the i·BUG group, working on machine analysis of human non-verbal behaviour and its applications to HCI. She has published more than 100 technical papers in the areas of machine analysis of facial expressions, machine analysis of human body gestures, audiovisual analysis of emotions and social signals, and human-centered HCI.

IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred by the Board of Directors upon a person with an extraordinary record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest.
