MEWBURN ELLIS: Open Day - Wednesday 18 January 2012

Mewburn Ellis - Open Day

Recipie for a Trade Mark Attorney: Take a measure of common sense and a flair for communication. Add one part law and mix well.

You don’t need a legal background to train as a Trade Mark Attorney. If you have a keen interest in language (a penchant for Scrabble ® and crosswords is not discouraged) and would enjoy the challenge of applying this in a legal and commercial setting, then a career as a Trade Mark Attorney may be for you. Come to an open day to find out more!

We offer the opportunity for students to visit our offices and learn more about the job by attending
an open day. The aim of the open day is to give you an idea of what the job involves on a day-to-day basis. The day includes a series of talks and practical exercises, covering topics such as registering trade marks and assessing freedom to use. You will also have the opportunity to meet other members of the firm during lunch. We hope that participation in the day will give you a much clearer idea of what being a Trade Mark Attorney is all about, and help you to determine whether or not this is the career path for you.
