"Hydrometeorological feedbacks and changes in water storage and fluxes in Northern India"
"On 28 - 29 February 2012, the inception meeting of the project "Hydrometeorological feedbacks and changes in water storage and fluxes in Northern India" was held in Bangalore, India. The project is funded by UK NERC and the Indian Ministry of Earth Sciences, for a total of GBP 1.1M.
It is a UK-India collaboration led by Prof. Pradeep Mujumdar of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Dr Wouter Buytaert, Imperial College London. The project will study the impact of climate change and land-use changes on the water resources of the Ganges basin in northern India and will last 4 years."
