British Paralympian swimmer pays a visit to Ethos whilst on a two day trip to London.
Having previously enjoyed Imperial’s sporting facilities, Simmonds paid her second visit to Ethos on a two day trip to London on 27 March and will continue to use the pool whenever in the capital, with the promise to soon return with another Olympic Gold medal.
Simmonds became Great Britain's youngest-ever individual Paralympic gold medallist in 2008 when she won two gold medals aged just 13.
Since then, the 17-year-old has been awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) and been named BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.
Simmonds who has Achondroplasia (dwarfism) relocated to Swansea with her mother from Walsall to train under the guidance of Welsh swimming coach of the year Billy Pye.
She added to her gold medal haul at the IPC European Championships in Berlin, beating her own world record to win the S6 400m freestyle.
In 2011, Simmonds won the award for 'Best British Sporting Performance for an Athlete with a Disability' at the Jaguar Academy of Sport Annual Awards.
