Chairman of the CPE advisory board elected Fellow of the Royal Society

Dr Jeremy H. Burroughes was elected Fellow of the Royal Society on 20th April 2012.

On 20th April 2012, Visiting Professor of Physics and Chairman of the Centre for Plastic Electronics' Advisory Board, Dr Jeremy Burroughes was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society. Dr Burroughes FIET, FReng, FRS is the Chief Technology Officer of Cambridge Display Technology (CDT), a company he co-founded in 1992 with Professor Donal Bradley and other colleagues in Cambridge.

Jeremy's election celebrates his significant contributions to the science, engineering and development of semiconducting polymers. His on-going work at CDT and with the Plastic Electronics Leadership Group is helping to shape the future of plastic electronics in the UK and globally.
