Undergraduate Industry Scholarships

UKESF and Power Academy The Department is delighted that 18 of their students have been awarded UKESF scholarships this year, and six have received IET Power Academy scholarships.

The UKESF is a collaboration between university, industry and the public sector that aims to promote the electronics industry and raise awareness of the range of stimulating careers in electronics. They offer around 50 scholarships a year to students studying at one of the 8 partner universities. The winners will spend the summer vacation on a paid work placement with their sponsoring company, is paid an annual bursary of up to £1,575, and attends a summer workshop.

The IET Power Academy is a collaboration between the UK’s professional body for electrical engineering (The IET), industry and universities. The aim is to deliver world class graduate engineers to design, develop, implement and maintain the power industry of tomorrow. They offer around 65 scholarships a year to students studying at one of the 7 partner universities.
