Alison Ahearn is collaborating with the British Council on work to enhance the IAESTE exchange scheme, as student applications have tripled in 5 years and student demand now exceeds supply 19-fold. Comments/insights from staff who have hosted IAESTE placements are welcome. IAESTE was invented at Imperial in 1948 and spread worldwide after MIT joined in 1950.
