Prizes for high quality teaching

We are delighted to announce that two members of our Department have been awarded prizes for the quality of their teaching.

We are  delighted to announce that two members of our Department have been awarded prizes for the quality of their teaching.

Dr Adrian Butler – Rector’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.  These awards are for outstanding teaching quality, organisation and presentation and will be presented by the Rector at the next Graduation Ceremony. 

Marcos Rodriguez – Departmental GTA of the Year.  Marcos has been contributing to the teaching of Computational Engineering Analysis, Maths, Fluid Mechanics and Dynamics.  This award will be announced at the Faculty's Teaching Excellence Awards Ceremony (19th June) and will be presented during our Department's PhD Poster Competition.  Andy Acred deserves a mention for coming second.
