Faculty of Engineering Teaching Excellence Awards 2012
The Faculty of Engineering annual round of awards to celebrate inspirational teaching and valuable student initiatives.
The Faculty of Engineering annual Teaching Excellence Award ceremony took place on Tuesday 19 June 2012 at Imperial College London.
The ceremony introduced by Faculty Principal, Professor Jeff Magee and chaired by the Head of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Deputy Principal (Education), Professor Peter Y Cheung, delivered a series of awards to both teaching staff and students.
The awards were presented by Professor Emeritus Sinclair Goodlad, Honorary Principal Research Fellow, in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
The awards were as follows:
- Awards for Teaching Excellence in Engineering Education
- Departmental GTA Awards and Faculty GTA Award
- Professor John Lever Memorial Award
Professor Robert Spence receving his award from Professor Emeritus Sinclair Goodlad
A Special Award for Contribution to Excellence in Engineering Education for over 50 Years was also presented to Professor Robert Spence.
