Prof. Pistikopoulos wins Computing in Chemical Engineering Award

Stratos Pistikopoulos has been selected as the recipient of the 2012 Computing in Chemical Engineering Award given by the Computing and Systems Technology Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers

The Computing in Chemical Engineering Award recognizes outstanding contributions in the application of computing and systems technology to chemical engineering and is sponsored by The Dow Chemical Company.  The sponsorship from Dow described Prof. Pistikopoulos as 'being a world leading authority in process systems with innovative (multi-parametric programming) and breakthrough technologies recognized (ERC Award) and industrially applied.'

The award will be presented at the CAST Division dinner  & banquet, which will be held at the AIChE Annual Meeting this autumn in Pittsburgh, PA (USA) on Tuesday 30^th October 2012.
