James Keirstead held a workshop on energy systems modelling on 21 May.  The event attracted over 40 researchers from across Imperial College to discuss common challenges in this field and to identify opportunities for collaboration in tools, data sharing, and research proposals.  A follow-up survey is being conducted online (http://bit.ly/ESsurvey) and a second workshop to discuss the results is scheduled for 2 July.  These activities are support by a Research Challenge award from the Energy Futures Lab.
