NEWS ASSOCIATES: Free Introduction to Journalism Workshops 2012-13
Free workshops in London and Manchester for students interested in a career in journalism.
FREE Journalism workshops (General)
News Associates is one of the UK’s leading press agencies - supplying 30,000 stories to over 200 newspapers last year, in addition to page ready production specials for newspapers/magazines and microsites for online publishers. The agency is an accredited provider of NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) media training - the oldest and most established post-graduate qualification for reporters. From their newsrooms in London and Manchester, they now train more journalists every year than any other provider - taking either 20-week Fast Track (March and September) or 40-week part-time (January/September) courses.
Aspiring reporters interested in a career in newspapers, magazines, online or broadcast can enrol for a free journalism workshop staged at the newsroom of national press agency News Associates.
This practical three-hour session will get you working on your own stories and there will be a chance to meet News Associates tutors, reporters and editors. Each attendee will get individual feedback and time will also be set aside for career advice.
