Sir Gordon was an invited expert to a JRC Global Food Security Prioritisation Workshop at the European Commission on 14th June.

JRC Foresight on Global Food Security Prioritisation 

The Joint Research Centre (JRC), the European Commission's in-house science service invited Gordon as an agricultural expert to receive questions and debate on the priorities for global food security, which was held at the European Commission on 14th June 2012.  

The exchange of views and debate that took place during this meeting will be summarised in a Workshop Report. The findings will be used to inform further discussions on food security related debate among the Commission services. In addition, the JRC will use the findings to identify issues that require further studies in a foresight context.
