The presentation will explain how young scientists can gain funding for their future research, and will include an overview of the changes NERC have recently made to the various responsive mode funding schemes.
The presentation will cover the funding process NERC uses, outlining the assessment mechanisms from peer review to panel meetings including the role of the Peer Review College and how funding decisions are made.
