Daniel Cappon Prize 2012

Applications now invited - end date 30th November 2012

Applications are now invited for the Daniel Cappon Prize.

This is a biennial award of £500 given to a student or recent graduate from the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London, and postgraduates on the St Mary’s & Charing Cross Psychiatric Training Scheme, in recognition of a published article in a medical journal or reputable non-medical publication on a topic relating to the widest aspect of psychosocial problems.

Candidates should submit three copies of their selected article, which should have been published or be in press by 30 November 2012, to Professor Allan Young, Centre for Mental Health, Imperial College London, St Dunstan’s Road, London W6 8RP.

Please write 'Daniel Cappon Prize' in the bottom left-hand corner. Submissions must be received by 30 November 2012, together with a supportive letter describing the background to the work, the candidate's part in it and why the article merits consideration for the Prize.

The winner will be announced in December 2012 and the Prize presented.
