Professor Sue Grimes (David Wilson, & Rachel Cahill) have been awarded the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Professional Award - Waste Regulation Award 2011 for the best published paper [published in Waste Management & Research 2010, 29(5) 455-479] on a waste regulation topic ‘Extended producer responsibility for packaging wastes and WEEE – a comparison of implementation and the role of local authorities across Europe’ , -  the award will be presented at the CIWM Professional Awards ceremony on 8th November 2012.
