David Nethercot was elected as the next President of IABSE

David Nethercot was elected as the next President of IABSE (the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering) at the annual meeting of the Permanent Committee last week.  David continues a long and illustrious line of well known and highly regarded engineers from all around the world who have distinguished this high office over the years.  He will take over from Predrag Popovic at the IABSE conference in Kolkata next September.
