Professor Stephen Smith was an invited expert on the Panel, which began work in May 2011 (see Environmental and Water Resource Engineering - May News 2011), and he was the only international representative from outside of North America. Professor Smith was principal author of Chapter 5 in the report on Promising Farm-Scale Technologies: Improving Water Productivity and Mitigating Environmental Impacts.
