Minister of Mauritius Visit

Rt. Hon Dr Rajesh Jeetah visits Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering

On Wednesday 13 February 2013, Professor Nick Buenfeld and Mr Colin Kerr welcomed the Rt. Hon Dr Rajesh Jeetah of Mauritius who was visiting the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering whilst on a trip to the U.K.  The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss shared interests and possible future collaborations between the College and the Mauritius Government.  Rt. Hon Dr Rajesh Jeetah is currently acting as the Minister for Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology and he is a Civil Engineer by heart, with a Doctorate in Textile Technology.
