Sept 2012 – Claire Jarvis Joins the Group as a Visiting Student

Claire Jarvis (ex. Novartis, Basel & MSci @Edinburgh University) joins the group.

Claire Jarvis joins the group as a MSci graduate of Edinburgh University having completed a 1 year industrial placement at Novartis in Basel, Switzerland. Her research in the group is scheduled from 17^th Sept to 14^th Dec and is directed at achieving a benzilic ester rearrangement (BER) route to hydroxy-evoninic acid.
