Imperial hosts HEFCE Annual Conference
HEFCE recently held their annual conference 'Shaping the future: the social and economic contribution of Higher Education' at Imperial.
The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) recently held their annual conference in the Sir Alexander Fleming Building at Imperial. The conference which took place on Thursday 18th April, was titled ‘Shaping the future: the social and economic contribution of Higher Education’. Speakers included senior HEFCE representatives along with David Willetts MP, Shami Chabrabarti the Director of Liberty, Craig Calhoun the Director of LSE and Professor Danny Dorling from the University of Sheffield.
