Professor John Burland and Dr Jamie Standing - Best Published paper in Geotechnique 2012

Congratulations to Professor John Burland and Dr Jamie Standing whose paper "Simple Approach to Predicting Ground Displacements Caused by Tunnelling in Undrained Anisotropic Elastic Ground" was judged to be the best published in Geotechnique for 2012. 

They will receive the ICE Geotechnical Research Medal presented to both at an award ceremony at the Institute of Civil Engineerings on 18th October of this year.
