Student Academic Choice Awards

The ceremony for the first Student Academic Choice Awards took place last night

These awards are based entirely on student nominations, with no staff involvement.  There were 8 awards, with 6 shortlisted candidates from across the College in each category.     I am very pleased to report that Anna Hikel won the Best Support Staff category.  In addition, we had 5 other individuals in the shortlists – Professors Sue Grimes, Bassam Izzuddin and Chris Swan for Best Feedback, Freya Summersgill for Best GTA and Dr Ana Ruiz-Teran for Best Teaching for Postgraduates.  Well done to these 6 and especially to Anna.  Also many thanks to the students who nominated.
