Winner of the QEP group Thesis Prize
Congratulations to Sebastian Wuestner of Condensed Matter Theory Group who is the winner of the 2013 QEP Group Thesis Prize from the Institute of Physics for this PhD thesis entitled 'Gain and Plasmon Dynamics in Active Nanoplasmonic Metamaterials'.
Sebastian was supervised by Professor Otwin Hess and has been awarded a one-year doctoral Prize Fellowship to continue his work in this area.
