Centenary Alumni Presentation in Cyprus - Event Report
Alumni in Cyprus gathered for a special Centenary reception - Thursday 24 May 2007
A Special Imperial College Centenary Presentation and Drinks Reception was held at the University of Cyprus on the 24th of May 2007. The evening alumni gathering in Cyprus was hosted by Professor Antonis Kakas (Mathematics 1981, PhD Physics 1984, MSc Computing 1988), Vice-Rector of International Relations, Administration and Finance of the University of Cyprus.
The evening included a short presentation by Professor Dot Griffiths, Deputy Principal of Tanaka Business School on the College's Centenary and its links with Cyprus. The event attended around 60 Imperial College Alumni and there was plenty of opportunity to network with old friends. During the event it was also decided to start up the new Imperial Alumni Association of Cyprus.
