Tanaka Business School Staff and Student Party, 8 June 2007
Over 350 staff and students of Tanaka Business School joined together on the verdant lawns of Imperial College's South-Kensington campus for this year's annual end of year party.
In a bespoke designer marquee, students, staff, external suppliers and colleagues from around the College relaxed drank and danced into the soft summer night, accompanied by some warm swing cooked up by the resident jazz band. Prof David Begg, principal, Tanaka Business School made a brief welcome address which praised both students and staff for yet another fabulous year before handing over to the ever-friendly bar tenders. A giant Nintendo Wii console reminded all participants of the school's engagement with new technologies and innovations, whilst giving all a good time!
In the words of one of the revellers '... good food, good fun and a wonderful and relaxing way to get to know colleagues and students, outside of the formal school environment'.
