Centenary Dinner in Beijing - Event Report
Alumni in Beijing gathered for a special Centenary dinner, with Imperial Ambassador, Professor Spencer Sherwin - 22 June 2007
Throughout 2007, Imperial College London is staging a year-long celebration of its Centenary with an exciting programme that includes special international alumni events. These events will include visits and presentations by world-renowned Imperial academics, under the College's new International Ambassador Scheme*.
As part of this programme, alumni in Beijing were invited to a celebratory dinner, hosted by the China Alumni Association. The dinner was at the Zhang Sheng Ji restaurant in Beijing, held on 22 June 2007.
An enjoyable evening was had by all, with 15 alumni attending. Imperial Ambassador, Professor Spencer Sherwin, Professor of Computational Fluid Mechanics in the Department of Aeronautics, attended the dinner, and gave alumni a general update on the College's Centenary and recent College news.
