Imperial College Regional Alumni Club in Southern China
Join the newly formed Imperial College Regional Alumni Club in Southern China
Fellow alumnus, Ling Ying (Full time MBA 2005) would like to establish an Imperial College Alumni Regional Club in Southern China.
While two active Imperial regional clubs in China already exist in Beijing and Shanghai, the proposed Southern club will be based in Shenzhen in the GuangDong Province. The Southern China Regional Club will cater for both Business School alumni and Imperial College alumni. This club will be an important point of contact for all alumni living in the South of China and an opportunity for members to access a range of events and networking opportunities at a much greater convenience.
Regional clubs are run by alumni volunteers who are responsible for the general administration of the group, including event planning, correspondence and fiscal management. Events organised by regional clubs can be anything from lectures by high-level business professionals to masterclasses by visiting professors and family-friendly outings.
The club will have it's first Imperial Ambassador visit on Tuesday 25 September 2007, with Imperial ambassador Professor Dot Griffiths, Deputy Principal of Tanaka Business School, as guest of honour. Organised in association with the Imperial College Tanaka Business School study tour, the event will gather together alumni of Imperial College. For further information, please see here.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Southern Club or getting involved in its set up, please contact Ling Ying directly on +0086 13265581512 or elaineying2003@yahoo.co.uk
