4 students from Civil & Environmental Engineering Dept - success with RAEng Awards
Professor Nick Buenfeld is delighted to announce that our students have been highly successful with RAEng Leadership Advanced Awards this year. Of the 35 successful students this year drawn from across all UK engineering departments, four are in our Department. Many congratulations to Jack Wilkinson, Fiona Walport, Eric Shut Wai Leung and Andrew Zi-Xiang Gng. The award for each student includes up to £5,000 funding for training and personal development.
A personal email to Nick from RAEng noted “We have been particularly impressed with the quality of students from your department. One Fellow even mentioned afterwards of one of your students that he would, without hesitation, have hired that student on the strength of their interview.”
