Professor David Fisk was accepted as the UK delegate at the April meeting of the Federation of European Heating and Air Conditioning Associations at the AGM in Dusseldorf"

Dr Hong Wong has been invited to give a lecture on “Electron microscopy and microanalysis of concrete” at Delft University of Technology on June 2014.

Dr Robert  Vollum  has been  appointed to the steering group for the Concrete Centre structural team.

Professor Richard Jardine was invited to give the American Society of Civil Engineers' Geotechnical Institute's Sowers Lecture in Atlanta, Georgia on 6th May.

Dr James Keirstead will be giving an invited lecture at the biennial Gordon Research Conference on Industrial Ecology on 4 June.  He will be discussing his work on the activity-based modelling of urban energy demands.
