NPSA Delivers Plan to Implement Recommendations on Operation of NHS RECs
The NPSA has developed a plan to implement the recommendations of the report of the ad hoc advisory group on the operation of NHS Research Ethics Committees.
The National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) has agreed a draft plan for implementing the recommendations in the report of the ad hoc advisory group on the operation of NHS research ethics committees.
The implementation plan will be put to public consultation once it has gained ministerial approval.
COREC will be discussing the key issues contained in the advisory group’s report in a series of forthcoming events, including COREC’s annual REC chairs’ conference in York and consultation road shows in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol.
Staff in the CRO hope to attend one of the London consultation road shows to engage in discussions about the issues.
