Dr Ahmer Wadee delivered the launch presentation of 50 Visions of Mathematics at the Royal Society on Wednesday 14th May where the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) was being celebrated. Dr Wadee is one of the editors of this book, which is a collection of 50 short essays by 50 maths writers and a foreword by Dara O’ Briain, all proceeds of which go to the IMA. Special guest at the launch was HRH Princess Anne.
