CPE Director receives honorary DSc from the University of Sheffield

Professor Donal Bradley has been awarded a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree honoris causa by the University of Sheffield in recognition of his achievements.  

Professor Bradley was Reader then PrBradleyofessor in the Department of Physics at the University of Sheffield between 1993 and 2000 before returning to Imperial College to initiate a new programme in plastic electronics.  

The thriving Molecular Electronic Materials and Devices group Professor Bradley founded in Sheffield has been led since 2000 by Professor David Lidzey. CPE members Dr Alasdair Campbell and Dr Xuhua Wang both also worked in the MEMD group in Sheffield before moving to Imperial College.
