SET for Britain poster competition

On March 9th PhD student Xi Liu having been shortlisted from hundreds of entrants participated in the final of the SET for Britain poster competition

The competition was held in Portcullis House, Westminster. Xi Liu, who is supervised by Dr Ana Mijic, Dr Wouter Buytaert and Prof. Cedo Maksimovic, presented her research on the modelling of the water and energy flows of the Blue Green Dream project’s green roof, which is located on the College’s Gabor Hall (Prince’s Gardens). Xi did not get a place on the podium, but the top prize in four out of the five (Mathematics, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry and Physics) subject categories was awarded to Imperial College researchers, marking a triumphal year for the College at this highly esteemed competition.
