Great communication: Giorgia's research presentation is top of the class
Congratulations to PhD student Giorgia Rossi, who has been awarded two prizes at the Imperial College Graduate School's Research Symposium.
Giorgia, a third year PhD student in the Communications and Signal Processing Group, recently represented the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Research Symposium.
This is an annual event which gives postgraduate research students the opportunity to present their research to one another (in two minutes!) and in turn, to learn about research taking place across the College.
Her poster ‘Making Cars Talk’ explained the complexity of vehicle-to-vehicle communications for intelligent transport systems in such an interesting way that she not only received third prize overall, but also the accolade of polling the highest number of votes from the student population, resulting in the ‘Students’ Choice’ prize as well.
Congratulations Georgia!
