Two Computing Professors honoured with visit from Chinese President Xi Jinping
Professor Yi-ke Guo and Professor Guang-Zhong Yang visited by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Imperial College on the 21st of October. He was accompanied by First Lady Madame Peng Liyuan, the Duke of York Prince Andrew and the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne. During the visit, the entourage visited two research labs led by Computing professors. Professor Yi-ke Guo Director of the Data Science Institute and Professor Guang-Zhong Yang Director of the Hamlyn Centre for technological innovation of healthcare, had the opportunity to explain some of their research to the visitors.
