Final National Observers Group Meeting of the European Interreg RainGain Project

Susana Ochoa-Rodriguez, Christian Onof and Cedo Maksimovic hosted the Final National Observers Group Meeting of the European Interreg RainGain Project. This project focuses on improving fine-scale measurement and prediction of rainfall in cities, with the final aim of enhancing urban pluvial flood modelling, forecasting and management. During this meeting RainGain partners presented the main findings of the project and the implications of the project’s results and remaining challenges were discussed during dedicated discussion panels with invited stakeholders. A total of 78 people attended the meeting, including specialists, practitioners, academics and local and central government policy-makers.
