Professor Daniel Rueckert has been elevated to IEEE Fellow for contributions to biomedical image computing

At the IEEE Board of Director’s November 2015 meeting, Daniel was made an IEEE Fellow ‘for contributions to biomedical image computing’.

Each year the IEEE Fellow Committee, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, recommends a select group of recipients for elevation to IEEE Fellow. Less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for this member grade elevation.

The IEEE is the world’s leading professional association for advancing technology for humanity. Through its 400,000 members in 160 countries, the IEEE is a leading authority on a wide variety of areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics.
