Professor of Chemical and Structural Biology Steve Matthews presented his inaugural lecture, entitled "Big Magnets and Big Molecules: seeing through the spin" on Wednesday the 13th of December.  Professor Paul Freemont of the Division of Molecular Biosciences introduced the talk and the vote of thanks was given by Professor Iain Campbell of Oxford Univ ersity.
